About Me
Hey there, my name is Corey and I am a GTA based UX designer, with a fairly varied educational and work background. I majored in philosophy, cultural studies and linguistics, and have worked as an interior designer, renovator, and English teacher. I lived abroad for two years in Taipei, Taiwan, where I studied Mandarin under scholarship at the Taiwan National Normal University.
I've been a songwriter as well as performing and recording musician for over a decade. I'm always in the midst of at least one music project. I can't get away from it, it's my passion and a driving force in my life.
I feel everything I have done thus far in terms of education, work, music, and travel has fused together to form a deep interest in people, strategy, and technology, which I believe to be a meeting point for UX design.
I'm fascinated by product design in the following fields:
